Absolute waste of time I rang up to ask if sauna was open woman on the phone said it was ,drove 30 min from home got there and they said it was open from 7 ? What is the point ? The thing that pissed me off the most is that on the phone I even said I was coming from 30 min away .I wish the whole strode brand / freedom would employ competent people instead it’s always just donuts had the same with the one in street the changing rooms and sauna were always absolutely minging as no one competent enough to give them a thorough clean

Lovely visit! The pool and surrounding spaces are warm and the pool is salt water. Just the right amount of shallow and deep sections for all ages to enjoy. There is a free car park, a cafe (although I haven't tried it) and there is a steam and sauna room. Absolutely going back 👍

I was pleasantly surprised. Some of the reviews do not paint a pretty picture. But I found the place very welcoming. The lady in reception was helpful and approachable. The changing rooms were clean even though it was early evening and the swim was pleasant as it is well lit and a fair size pool. May be the sun brightens it all up. I hope it does well, as I will definitely be returning

This centre is amazing, the people really make it. It might not be the best maintained centre, but the help, friendliness, facilities, price and the people that not only work there but the people that use it are so nice. With everything you eould need like new gym equipment, badminton, pickleball, basketball courts, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, swim lessons for children and Adults, and a huge range of classes. And not forgetting the pool or bouncetastic party's they do. This centre really is more than you think.

Good place for a kids party. Plenty of space for running around. Other facilities look excellent swimming pool etc. Only thing a bit disappointing vending machine not working and coffee bar facility odd hours.
