Wells Dry Cleaner

Awful customer service. The lady behind the counter is exceptionally rude. Only accepts cash! Informed me this when I went to collect and held up the ticket to my face in an aggressive manner where it is stated in a very small print. Would not use again. Waitrose next time!

Completely ruined my favourite suede bag I took in for cleaning and denied any responsibility. The male owner is horrible and left me in tears.

Used twice, both times had the awful experience of watching the owner be rude and disparaging to the customer in front of me. Would almost forgive it if the dry cleaning was fabulous but it was definitely below par both times. The only saving grace is the lady working there one time I collected, friendly, professional and the only positive from this establishment

I took an expensive 58% Silk 42% Linen suit to be dry cleaned. I had inadvertently walked into a cars tyre in the car park at my sons wedding reception, leaving tyre marks on the skirt! The suit was returned to me as new! What an amazing find! Joe Borastero is a master at his art and I feel sure he has passed this on to his family. This amazing family business has to be treasured as this level of service and skill are rare these days. I would like to say a Big Thank You .

Utterly disappointed and will not be using thier services again. My wedding dress was taken in to be dry cleaned at the end of November and we were told it would take a couple of weeks. When we hadn't heard anything after about 3 weeks we chased it up, to which nobody could tell me where my dress was. After another 2 or 3 weeks of chasing this up (and I understand that this was over Christmas, how we were told it would be done before Christmas), I still didn't have my dress back and no nearer finding out where it was and not getting a straight answer from the shop, to which makes me wonder if they had lost my wedding dress, as somebody should've been able to locate it and tell us it's whereabouts. My mum, who had been helping me deal with this situation was also met with abuse and rudeness being shouted at her down the phone. When we finally got my dress back we were told that it was sent back as wasn't deemed clean enough (some stains are still visible), but if this was the case we should've been updated or they should've at least been to tell us where it was when we chased it up. Further to this, it came back to me in a plastic bag, when I handed it over it was in the dress bag I bought it and along with the hanger, neither of which has been returned to me. I live in Essex but am originally from the area which is why my mum was helping me out and we wanted to support local businesses. Safe to say I wish I hadn't bothered, it was more stress and hassle than it was worth. The only saving grace was when my mum went in to ask where the dress bag was, was a woman working behind the counter (unfortunately we don't know her name, but a different woman than who was on the phone) who was really lovely and helpful, so a massive thank you to this woman for being so lovely and polite to my mum after her previous experience. Can't say I would recommend or use the service again.
