I recently booked a “deep clean” and wanted to share a review of my experience. There were some positives. The team arrived on time, were friendly, and got started straight away. They brought all of their own cleaning supplies, and the house smelled fresh once they had finished. The bathroom in particular does seem to have been cleaned to a good standard. However, there were quite a few areas where the service didn’t meet expectations for a deep clean. The tops of the kitchen cupboards were not cleaned all the way back, and only some of the inside kitchen cupboards were done, despite this being advertised as part of the service. I was also told that cleaning two appliances would be an extra charge, even though this is included in the deep clean package on their website. I had to ask for certain areas to be re-cleaned, and even then it didn’t feel very thorough as some areas were still dusty. Hoovering missed under the sofa (which I had specifically requested) and the main entrance mat. The hard floors still had visible splashes of dirt, internal doors were not wiped down, and light shades, ornaments, and the tops of picture frames were left dusty. A cup of tea was also spilled on my wall, and this wasn’t mentioned or cleaned before the team left. I did call them back, and to their credit they returned straight away and rectified it. Overall, I wouldn’t use this service again. For the price paid, it didn’t feel like a deep clean—more like a general clean with several areas missed.
