The New City Road Laundry Service

Wendy is an absolute diamond! My very poorly elderly uncle was taken into hospital, seriously ill. He’s on his own, his family are hundreds of miles away. He asked if we could get someone in to sort his laundry and I reached out to Wendy. I had my card at the ready, happy to pay for any costs involved. She insisted that she didn’t want paying and that she was happy to help someone who genuinely needed it. I won’t lie, I was completely bowled over. As was the family when I relayed what this wonderful lady was prepared to do. It really inspired me to pass the kindness on. Thank you so much Wendy, you really are a wonderful person and I wish nothing but the best of things in life for you. And if I ever have the opportunity to pass that kindness on, I certainly will ❤️

My sister had organised to wash our duvets. I went into this lovely laundrette on Wednesday. We met Wendy, she was the loveliest. She offered me a lovely cup of coffee and biscuits. I honestly wasn’t expecting it and I couldn’t believe it. The customer service was top notch. It was a clean, welcoming environment and she was so helpful in choosing the right wash, dryer and helped to fold the duvets. She is just awesome ❤️. I wish her all the best ❤️.

I was nervous about going to the laundrette as no idea how to use the washers or dryers as always had my own. When i walked in I was greeted with a very friendly lady who helped me sort my washing out, she made me feel at ease and the conversation flowed. The price of 2 washers and 2 dryers was £25 which i think was amazing, the helpful laundry woman even helped me fold my washing up and bag it. I was very happy with the service. Thank you

I was really nervous about using the laundrette, but Wendy and her team made my experience great. They helped me and were really friendly and even made me a coffee. They helped whole experience was quick, easy and straightforward

A service second to none from the ladies at this launderette. Have done many washes here as well as dry cleaning and they have now fixed a down feather coat like magic. A proper pillar of the local community, keep up the good work!
