The Gateway Management Suite

The services provided by this management company are falling short and come across as extortionate. Our housing estate is locked into their services due to the new build, despite not having selected them ourselves. Fees have been increasing annually, yet the quality of service does not seem to match the rising costs. For instance, the grass wasn’t cut for six months, resulting in waist-high overgrowth; the playground is neglected, with broken swings and graffiti; and the sole bin is frequently overflowing and seldom emptied. Initially, we were quoted a fee of £50 per year, but it has now nearly quadrupled in recent years. If you purchased your property through Persimmon, you're obligated to pay these fees or face late charges and legal threats. I strongly recommend against using this management company. Be aware of the exit fees if you plan to sell your property. As a disclaimer, this statement reflects my personal opinion. While the company does perform some functions, such as posting letters, maintaining up-to-date accounts, and conducting health and safety checks, these services do not mitigate the concerns outlined.

One star is too many. This company are despicable. They do not care to manage sites but simply exploit the leaseholders by favourably awarding contracts to their sister companies in order to line the pockets of Gateway Group as a whole. I live in a site they manage and Gateway Group are the freeholder of and they do not manage the site correctly; it is not maintained to even an average standard despite the service charge being eye waveringly high and the most expensive in the surrounding areas. However, because they are the freeholder, they ignore any leaseholders concerns or requests for their jobs to be done correctly and slap you with high rate bills accompanied with threats of legal action should you not pay on time.

I totally agree with all the negative reviews. Gateway are only concerned about making as much money as they can out of leaseholders. Self serving and not acting in leaseholders best interests.

Gateway east, marsh lane, Leeds management is doing nothing for out of service lifts for last 3 days. They don’t care for elderly or unwell people too. Very hopeless.
