Tenancy.Cleaning

Guarantee admitted in writing, then never honoured. Paid £1,500 for an end-of-tenancy clean (invoice #17898); the quote was at the high end but we proceeded partly on the strength of the advertised re-clean guarantee. The agent’s check-out flagged eight residual items. I claimed the guarantee within their 7-day window and their reply confirmed in writing that the booking was covered. The check-out report, clerk’s photographs and agent’s photographs were all provided the same day, with access confirmed. No visit was ever scheduled. Instead: a request to resubmit everything through a complaints form, a promise of a full response “by close of business today,” then silence. We are now arranging another company to finish the flagged items at our own cost.

Fantastic! Omar and his colleague worked so hard and the house was spotless. The carpets looked great after being cleaned and the oven looks brand new. I would highly recommend the team they did a brilliant job!

Extremely disappointed with this company. I paid for a full professional end-of-tenancy clean, and the results were nowhere near an acceptable standard. When the check-out inventory report came back, it flagged the kitchen, bathroom, windows and appliances as all still requiring cleaning - mould deposits in the bathroom seals and grout, dirty kitchen units and worktops, an uncleaned fridge, extractor and dishwasher, and windows left dirty throughout. This is basic stuff that should be covered in any end-of-tenancy clean, let alone one that's been paid for in full. As a direct result, I'm now being charged an extra £285 + VAT for a second professional clean, on top of what I already paid this company. Save yourself the money and the hassle - go with a company that actually does the job properly the first time.
