St. James Facilities

I transferred to St James Facilities through TUPE three months ago and, overall, my experience has been very positive. From the outset, the transition was handled professionally, with clear communication and a structured onboarding process that made settling into my role both straightforward and comfortable. Since joining, I have found the working environment to be supportive, well organised, and genuinely team-oriented. I work closely with both management and colleagues on a daily basis, and there is a strong sense of collaboration across the site, which makes a real difference to day-to-day operations. Management is approachable, visible, and responsive, which creates a reassuring and well-structured working atmosphere. Communication is consistent and clear, with updates shared in a timely and professional manner, allowing everyone to stay informed and aligned. In my role at reception, I am responsible for managing front-of-house operations, including welcoming visitors, coordinating access, supporting occupiers, and assisting with events. Expectations are clearly set, which helps me to maintain a high standard of service and take pride in the work I deliver. What stands out most for me is St James Facilities’ commitment to staff wellbeing. The environment is respectful, inclusive, and collaborative, and there is a genuine effort to support employees across all levels. Overall, I feel that St James Facilities is a well-managed organisation that values its staff and provides a positive and professional place to work.

Warning to anyone thinking of working for or doing business with St. James Facilities, the company is very disorganised and unprofessional. People act with fake smiles when they need something from you, but show a completely different attitude when they no longer do. Overall, my experience was very negative. I would not recommend working with them. The business feels selfish, and the behaviour and manners of some people are disappointing.
