SQR group

Nick Gale one of the best trainers, so engaging, very good teacher, highly recommend. Ds training, close protection, first aid course. Or top up your licence..

I completed my SIA Close protection with SQR in September 2025. I have nothing negative to say. The instructor Nick is a great and very engaging with his method of teaching. He has current real world experience of CP and the security industry. The real world operations/assessments are very realistic and enjoyable. The facilities at SQR are great. I would highly recommend SQR as a training provider if looking at entering the CP or security industry.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to SQR and our instructor, Nick Gale, for delivering an outstanding Close Protection course. The training was highly professional, well-structured, and truly invaluable in preparing us for real-world scenarios.

Just wrapped up an intense Close Protection Course at the SQR training facility with an amazing group of professionals! From tactical positioning to threat and risk assessment, we covered it all. Huge thanks to our instructor Nick Gale for sharing his expertise and pushing us to our limits. As a result of the course I am ready to take on new challenges and provide top-notch protection services.

I spent a long time researching where to do my course as prices varied considerably. If your in the same boat go with SQR. Very good and challenging course but gives you a very good insight into CP. Instructor has wealth of knowledge and you learn at a good pace. There are 3 assessments drills that are well planned out and were challenging but also enjoyable. All in all a very good course and impressed by the company, would definitely recommend.
