Silver Saints

Booked Silver Saints to put up a projector screen, which Yannick did a fantastic job with. However, I wanted to book him again to do another project for me, and it has been impossible. They did not suggest sending a different handyman either. Left me with the impression that their services are completely unreliable. I called 4 weeks in a row attempting to get some advice for the project and get it booked, Beth on the phone said each time she would call me back with information in 48hrs, and never did. It was disappointing customer service - I had hoped to continue to use them as my go-to handyman service, but am no longer considering them as an option.

Jack from Silver Saints did some work for me. Literally wow he did things I did not even ask for example when I asked about things he had already done them. 🤩 I seriously would recommend this plumber/electrician. Worked very quickly and efficiently and was ever tidy.

I have been using Silver Saints for quite a few years for everything from unblocking a waste pipe (major) to hanging pictures and unsticking doors and always find them to be excellent - calm, efficient and reliable. Recently, Tom fixed a broken light and Pawel got my old boiler working again; Ivo and Stan have also been great. It’s good to know a company I can trust in London and they always leave me feeling it was money well spent. I recommend them to all my friends.

Booked an appointment last week to have 3 pieces of flat pack furniture assembled - Bookings team forgot to send me a link for deposit payment which caused me to scramble around looking for a same day replacement. Luckily, I found two excellent tradesmen on my builder.com who were able to complete the job to a high standard. Silver Saints are a waste of time, go elsewhere.

A long story cut short-ish. Their engineer fitted the wrong toilet flush completely - single flush to replace a dual (I'd requested like for like) despite coming out prior to assess what was needed. When I told my usual handyman that the flush wasn't working well and had never worked well, he looked and told me the SS engineer had fitted a single but the fittings inside were for dual, I reported it to Silver Saints who wouldn't accept any responsibility and said I was out of warranty. I fought it and it took 3 separate visits by 3 different engineers, 20-odd emails and the threat of court action, over a period of many months, before they agreed to process a refund. I have now received a refund but not for the full amount, so I'm still emailing them for the outstanding £42. I'm surprised to hear others have had such positive experiences with this company because honestly, my experience has been dreadful and I would recommend steering well clear of them.
