shine window cleaning ltd

Shine Window Cleaning Ltd exceeded expectations. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and the results were flawless. Our windows are crystal clear—makes a huge difference. Will definitely use them again!

I first contacted Shine about doing window cleaning for our bottom flat (6 windows with a bathroom window) and was quoted £15. Person arrived, missed my bedroom window (easy to do due to design of flats) but all they did was use water with a bit of cleaning solution and it was done in a couple of minutes, no squeegie to remove excess water and bird mess on the window wasn't completely removed. Contacted Mike from the company regarding this to have someone sent out, which wasn't so straightforward, boy returned and did a clean the main problem was fixed but some mess on other windows still existed. This was done for free of course. 2 weeks later I get an email from Mike saying "Hi windows cleaned on the 11th of June thanks Mike" which sounded like he wanted us to pay. I sent a message to say why this message 2 weeks later, no reply. Then at 19:22pm 2nd July get a text that they were coming the next day, less than 24 hours notice, rearranged didn't show until yesterday out the blue. This obviously took us by surprise as we were in the process of looking for other people to do it thinking that they gave up with no communication. When trying to explain this to the guy who appeared, I got "Can you hurry up, I have 70 others to do today". And a bit later confused on why other customers want to fight the guy, I don't think he realised he is part of that problem, I said I didn't blame him completely but the owner for lack of communication which is true, but his attitude is obviously causing problems on top of the original problem from the owner. I would avoid, the service they offer for the price is NOT worth it and neither is the headache that is Mike who doesn't communicate correctly. EDIT: After contacting mike in August after the surprise turn up, he said I will take you off the schedule. Today 04/09/25 they turned up again and washed the windows... there is literally 0 communication. And I will not be paying for today's wash that wasn't agreed on.
