Shawn Chambers General Builders

Shawn undertook a loft extension for us last year, a small 2 bed bungalow transformed into a lovely 3/4 bed dormer. From initially meeting Shawn I was impressed at his knowledge and enthusiasm. He gave an estimated time scale, which was virtually spot on, and his quote was very competitive. From day one of the build (or demolition initially!), Shawn and his team were always on site early, and his communication with other trades and deliveries resulted in virtually no delays. There were many decisions to be made as the build progressed, and Shawn was always available to answer questions, give advice, and get extra quotes when needed. If extra work was needed or extra jobs discovered, these were undertaken willingly. Overall, I am extremely happy with the results, the timescale was accurate, and the agreed quote and payments were as discussed from the start. The whole process seemed extremely smooth, with huge progress made each week. Nearly a year on, and no problems have arisen, despite extreme weather over the winter. During his time working on our house, he was observed by various neighbours, who he has subsequently undertaken work for, including another significant extension. In my opinion, Shawn is hard working, reliable, and very competent, and I would approach him for any future work, big or small. Thanks again.

My name is Mike Allan. My wife Sue and I recently decided to undertake an outside landscaping project. This involved various aspects, from building a raised patio retaining wall surrounding our home, installing Aco channel drains and laying porcelain slabs. This work was undertaken and completed by Shawn Chambers, who has provided a professional service throughout at a really competitive price. Will certainly use his services again.
