Sandfold Lane Household Waste and Recycling Centre - R4GM/SUEZ

I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, the site is well sign posted and clean. If I've ever had any questions, they're more than happy to help. Genuinely such nice and kind people work here. We are moving away soon and the next recycling centre has a lot to live up to!

Easy access as located in Manchester city. Staffs are helpful and pointing you to the right spot to scrap your items. Suggest to go on Sat or Sunday late afternoon to avoid weekday traffic.

Always a good place to visit, but, they have stopped providing a specialist area for paint disposal & it now goes in general waste, which is absolutely disgusting & unacceptable!! They, also, will not accept this disposal of plasterboard offcuts, they now need taking to Bredbury. Sandfold Lane could do better, but still do a pretty good job 😋🥰

Excellent service. Staff so helpful and friendly. I always have a laugh and joke with them at the gate. I believe their salary is quite good too. Not the best job in the winter but still cheerful. Well done to all.

The place is actually pretty good and most of the staff are great the only thing id want to see is the ability to be able to recycle stuff like plasterboard which is the main reason I knocked it down a star. I don't want to trek several miles more just to go to the Bredbury one or another one that does accept those kinds of things also would be better if it closed later because I remember it used to close around 8pm but now it's 6pm.
