Saffron Laundry Cambridge

I am pretty disappointed with my service. Put a feather down duvet to deep clean, paid 27+ pounds (pretty expensive), had to wait 3 weeks to get it washed, and when I received it, it still had highlighter stains on it and a mark on it as if my duvet had got caught on something and seemed a bit torn with black stains. I was not happy, paid a lot for subpar service. I will not be returning. Would do a better job at a self service laundrette.

If I could rate it less than 1 star I would! Where to start? 1. They refused to dry clean an item of clothing on the basis it needed “specialist dry cleaning”. This item is a bog standard whistles dress I’ve had dry cleaned many many times before. The label even says dry clean! 2. They said they needed a week to clean 4 items. I returned 8 days later to collect - my clothes were not ready! 3. It was £48 for this experience. For 4 items of clothing. 4. On top of this the opening hours are inconvenient! I only had the misfortune of going here because I’m new to the area and it is my local dry cleaners. I will not be returning. There is no amount of money they could pay me to return as a costumer! I suggest you steer well clear. I will be travelling a bit further to get to another cleaners in the future and advise you all do the same.

The service here is brilliant and we would highly recommend. We have used the dry cleaning facility many times which is well priced and to an excellent standard. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable about different garments. We have also used their tailoring service several times for dress alterations for weddings/events - the tailor is brilliant and has saved us on many occasions!

They took a poncho of my daughter to clean and food stains were still there when they returned it. They charged me full price. Please don’t use this cleaner!! It’s a rip off, I am going to spread this information everywhere in order to warn people. Businesses like this should not exist! This stain was 100% removable (I am doing it every day with my cloths). I just thought it will be better cleaned by dry cleaners! They didn’t even accept that it’s 100% their fault! Please ignore them!

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED (WITH HIDDEN COSTS) AND VERY VERY SLOW. AVOID AVOID AVOID!! It took almost 2 weeks to dry clean 5 items and cost £70. I was told 1 week (the items were not ready) and quoted £48 at the time of drop off. This was the price given on the ticket. Upon collection 13 days later (when the items were finally ready) I was told there were hidden costs because they had to send an item off for hand-washing (apparently they are unable to do that), hence the total being much, much more than originally quoted. In summary, very poor service. It took almost double the estimated time and cost almost 50% more than the original quote (which I already considered expensive). My local dry cleaners in central London would clean the same items for 25% of the price in 1-2 days. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Please save yourself the bother.
