Terrible Service and Poor Communication I had an extremely frustrating experience with Rely-On Guarding. The company is responsible for locking the car park outside my gym, which is clearly signposted as locked from 11:00 PM to 6:45 AM. However, when I tried to leave at 10:55 PM, the gate was already locked without any warning or indication as to why. I had been sitting in my car less than 10 meters from the gate with my engine running, but as I was facing the other way and it was dark and raining heavily, I hadn’t seen anyone close it. Another gym member, also stuck inside, informed me that the gate had been locked. Together, we found a security box with a phone number, and the staff there were helpful in contacting the security company. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide an ETA for someone to let us out and instead told us we’d have to wait until midnight for someone to come. When the security driver finally arrived—at 12:15 AM, 75 minutes later—he was extremely rude and condescending. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, he tried to blame us for not checking if the gate was locked, even though it was supposed to remain open as per the posted signage. He claimed that he had left another gate open on the opposite side of the car park but made no effort to notify anyone properly. Even worse, he said he left a note, but this was never relayed to us by his company, showing either poor communication or a serious security breach. This entire situation was completely unacceptable. The security company failed to follow their own posted rules, failed to communicate clearly, and their representative was unprofessional and dismissive. I would strongly advise anyone relying on their services to think twice, as their incompetence could leave you stranded for hours, as it did for me.

Always willing to listen and adapt to the customers requirements at short notice. Our main SPOC Simon has put together a specialist mobile security team who have performed brilliantly. Travelling the length and breadth of the UK visiting our depots carrying out random searches and other security enhancements. Working not only with us but other external agency's to protect our colleagues, premises and products. Faced into some challenges, adapted and moves forward with some added value.
