PT Lock & Safe Ltd

I called Phil as my front door could not be unlocked. He gave me the simple solution of using WD40 which worked perfectly. This saved me £65 + VAT. Huge thanks to Phil for kindly giving me free advice. I have used Phil before to replace all the locks on a house. He did a superb job at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend PT Lock and Safe Ltd.

Fantastic locksmith, extremely reasonably priced, accredited & DBS checked. Communicative, quick, thorough and friendly. He was a huge help getting my locks changed and I recommend them wholeheartedly

Recently bought a used car that only came with one key card. Contacted PT lock and safe and was given a quote that I was well satisfied with when compared to main car dealer prices. Appointment made at their workshop and Rhys not only supplied a new key card, he reprogrammed my original one to prevent the missing one being used to start my car if anyone decided to steal it. The keycard I needed was also found to be cheaper than the one I was quoted for so the price was reduced accordingly. Rhys was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable in his field of work and I therefore have no hesitation in recommending this company for any lock issues or replacements.

Great customer service. Came and did my spare key for my vxr. Unfortunately there was a mix up with one of rhe colleagues saying I cancelled when I didn't but was dealt with very well and as a buisness owner myself I can understand these little mistakes especially with other workers. Was very well resolved though turned up later that same day and I'm impressed with the quality of my key so far and works well. With this key it's bound to hold some resale value or if I lose my current one I still have a decent key to use or if I want to sell the car. Way better than timpsons as they could not do my key

Hi Phil, I don’t normally write reviews but I feel I need to warn others of the true service you offer. Booked my camper in with PT Locks Aug 2024 to have hook door locks fitted. Booked an appointment with Ryan, visited their site and discussed my requirements, placed the order. When I collected the vehicle the "Lock Fitter" had fitted deadlocks. None of the locks fitted correctly and the holes he had cut in my doors were atrocious. Quite clearly he had no lock fitting training and was just winging it. Complained by email, eventually the company owner Phil got involved, long story short Phil is full of cheap talk and empty promises, he’s done nothing to put this situation right. April 2025 Phil now ignores my calls, that’s how he deals with complaints. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for vehicle security locks, they are incompetent and the owner should know better. Phil you have my number, should you want to discuss this………
