Ohm Building and Refurbishing Services

We recently engaged Ohm Building and Refurbishing Services to carry out a second EICR inspection, and our experience with Vin was excellent from start to finish. Vin was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and approachable throughout the process. He took the time to explain his findings clearly and assessed the installation based on the actual condition of the property rather than making assumptions. His balanced and practical approach gave us confidence in the outcome. After a previous experience that left us with many questions, it was refreshing to work with someone who was transparent, evidence-based and willing to discuss technical matters in a clear and reasonable manner. The inspection was carried out efficiently, and we were delighted that the installation passed. More importantly, we felt the assessment was fair and professionally conducted. We would have no hesitation in recommending Vin and Ohm Building and Refurbishing Services to anyone requiring an EICR or electrical inspection. Thank you again for your excellent service.

The electrician who visited my home was efficient, skilled, and genuinely helpful. He quickly diagnosed the issue with my multiple light switch and carried out a clean, reliable repair that works perfectly. He also replaced a double socket with a fused spur, completing the job neatly and to a high standard. His workmanship was tidy, he explained what he was doing throughout, and he made sure everything was tested properly before leaving. It’s reassuring to have someone who clearly knows their trade and takes pride in the result. I’d happily use his services again and fully recommend him to others.

Vin came out very quickly to replace an electrical underfloor heating thermostat for us. He fixed the issue the same afternoon. Recommended.

Very happy with Vin’s work and excellent communication to give me ETA. He repaired a 3 gang 2 way dimmer switch for me and replaced led kitchen lights that were not working.

Vin came to replace a bathroom fan and do some other electrical jobs at my fathers house. He was very friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable- I would recommend
