MD Group

I just wanted to compliment the technician who called at my address at Whitecross Court today to attend to the issues with my patio doors. I’m not sure but I think he was called Shaun? However whatever his name was he was so polite helpful and sorted both problems out. He even went above and beyond because using my front gate he identified a problem ( can’t remember what he said now) but he did something which helped a decrepit gate which I have reported to Westward Housing last Friday. Well done to your employee and I hope you pass on my comments and thanks to the technician concerned Jayne Murch

Update:- Their operative came out to see me on 29/09/25 and said I needed a new bath that was slightly bigger and deeper. Job was booked for today (28/10/25) as we were away for the last 2wks so couldn't do it any sooner. Rang up as no one has turned up to be informed they were never coming because the bath wasn't ready, what a joke when they've known about it since the end of last month. Now they can't come until 20th November as they only have 1 plumber 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have paint peeling off my bath every time it gets wet due to their dodgy operative bodging it so bad so now I can't bathe my child as paint is getting stuck to him and his hair and all I get is sorry it's due to availability. Absolutely diabolical service from these incompetent idiots!!!!! If I could give Zero stars I would. This company is a complete liability!!! They turn up to do a job when they feel like it not when the appointment is booked, they do such bad jobs that you have to either call them out again to rectify the issues or you have to fix it yourself to prevent the bad workmanship. They take an absolute eternity to get jobs done in the first place and they employ idiots who use every excuse in the book to avoid doing work. There's only 2 operatives that work for MD that are fantastic and I'm surprised they still work for MD in all honesty. I'd avoid this company like the plague!!!

Workmen not doing the job properly having to do multiple recalls on jobs that were supposed to be fixed. left with floods in both bathrooms/toilets don’t think it’s fair these guys are getting paid for a job they’re not doing. I am now in the future requesting that none of my repairs are to be done by md group as they are utter rubbish and don’t do what they were sent to do. One guy in particular I’m in the middle of a complaint as like I said is just doesn’t do what he was sent to do! Would avoid this company at all costs if you can

Absolutely horrendous. Sending out a token guy with a tape measure then spending 2 hours promising this and that and not hearing a single word back. The 20 foot drop onto razor wire where the gardens collapsed is clearly deemed not that dangerous...the fence has fallen into the field so the kids are now confined to the indoors. I phoned the MD EXETER branch and the attitude and constant fobbing off and indifference is disgusting,they even had to be prompted to actually price the job for Sanctuary housing...we are now told after almost 12 months they can't do the job.

MD Group are a total nightmare to get through. Took the same workman Brett to repair my bedroom window after 3 years of messing round with it and throwing screws out of the window, still not it’s best, very heavy handed and don’t interact with the tenant and just walks in and out of house like it’s theirs.
