We've had the pleasure of building the website and handling SEO marketing for Justin and Sam at JLS Building Services for a little while now, and they're a brilliant company to work with. Garden project completed November 2025 carried out very professionally. Very happy with end result. New patio and path look great. Concrete base ready for large shed or other project. Raised beds ready for growing vegetables and flowers. Was fully consulted throughout works and original quote was honoured despite a few additional works as project unfolded. Workforce were very efficient, skilled and polite. Thank you JLS.

My wife and I have just a had a single-story house extension completed by JLS Building Services and we could not be happier with the results. The quality of the work is second to none, and the entire project was completed in what feels like record time. Which is even more impressive given the amount of extra work we kept adding to the job! There were quite a few aspects that made for a really great experience, namely: The owner, Justin – Justin was and continues to be transparent with us on all aspects of the job. From the outset, he was clear about what we could expect in terms of timing, costs, and really helped us navigate through the process. Justin was on site more days than not, ensuring that the work was going to plan, as well as being on hand to answer any questions we had. He could not have made himself more available or been any more helpful throughout. The tradesmen – Not only were Justin’s crew of tradesmen all excellent at their respective specialisms, to a person they were all incredibly kind, helpful and respectful. They kept the site clean, were all incredibly nice to us and our 6-year-old and were consistently punctual and hard working. Flexibility – As the job progressed, we found ways to add more and more to its scope. What started as a straightforward extension and new kitchen, now includes all the windows in the house being replaced, a new large bay window, a bespoke television/bookcase wall unit, a greenhouse and everything in between. There was nothing that Justin and his team were not prepared to do, and again, worked closely with us on options whilst being conscious of cost constraints. The quality/outcome – We really love what has been done, both inside and out, and are really pleased with how everything looks and works. From the aesthetics of the build to the functionality of all elements, it is all better than what we had originally expected. And if there was any aspect that was not quite right (which were few and far between) Justin and his team were quick to sort it. I could literally write so much more about what has gone well, and am sure I am leaving out aspects, but the bottom line is that using JLS was an excellent decision on our part. By far the best experience with any trade/building project we have ever had. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have found it really hard to write this review as I don't have enough words to express just how brilliant this company are! For the last 15 years my husband and myself toyed with the idea of extending our small terraced house. We have watched ALL the home renovation programmes and dreamed that maybe, one day, that could be us. The main thing stopping us was, where do you start? We phoned around several building companies ( having read reviews, asked friends and quite frankly, toured the streets of Southend-on-Sea to see renovations being carried out on various streets) We came upon an advertising board that advertised JLS Building Services Ltd. We took the chance and phoned the number ( I was so nervous I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted or even how to explain it) I left my number and Justin phoned me back as soon as he was available. At our first meeting with Justin we were immediately put at ease. Justin took our ideas on board, put us in touch with an architect and hey presto, things started to take shape. Building permissions had to be granted and Justin pencilled us in for a start date, which he kept to. Justin and his team are truly amazing ( I don't mean to gush but, wow, can they build!) Justin is very attentive and no matter when you phone, no matter how silly the question, he will always answer or return the call to put your mind at rest. Our build took about 14 weeks and the outcome is truly amazing! It has far exceeded any of our dreams. Our main aim was to build a bathroom and utility room in the existing footprint and to extend by 4 metres to create our dream kitchen. Of course, bi-fold doors, a large lantern and a large decking area at the back. It is a truly beautiful area. If it can be done, Justin will get it done. If it can't he will tell you straight and offer an alternative. Massive thanks go out to this wonderful team, or magicians as I like to think of them! Steve, Rob, Kieran, Waggy the plumber, Luke the electrician, John and Luke the plasterers, Yaz for all the kitchen designs and last but not least, John, for the wonderful decorating job he did. Especially our thanks and forever gratitude go to Justin for persevering and putting up with us. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Every single member of this team treated us with total respect, were punctual, hard working and so polite. We miss them now they have moved on to their next job! Fantastic company - Justin and Jason are great and easy to speak to which helps when you aren't really sure what you want or what you're talking about like me. They have come and given us advice and looked at things countless times and have redone our flooring downstairs putting in a nice warm coloured quick-step which now looks fantastic. I am lucky to have these guys nearby - they can do a bit of everything - "we'll rebuild your whole house for you if you want" as Justin says. 100% recommended!
