Glasgow Handyman Services

I was looking to get a freestanding washing machine hooked up and was quoted £95! There is no plumbing required as i had the old machine taken out, so it would just be a case of taking off the transit bolts, adjusting the feet and connecting the hoses . I put an ad on checkatrade and got a quote for £50. I'm not sure why it's almost double. That's some difference, I'm disappointed 😞 It would be so useful to have a local handyman to help with odd jobs but I don't want to be ripped off. I see lots of reviews saying that their prices are good but definitely not my experience 😕 Such a shame 😞

I needed a new home TV put up on the wall. The old TV bracket was already installed and the old TV was already taken down. Called this local small business after searching online. The guy gave me a price of £90. I paid him upfront via transfer which I shouldn’t have. When he visited, I wasn’t home but my elderly 84 year old father was. When he was asked to take his shoes off, he refused and made an issue of it. He eventually agreed to shoe bags. When he came into the room where the TV was, he became impatient as he wasn’t sure what TV was to go up and was about to leave without completing a paid job. When he discovered what TV was to go up, the job involved two simple bolts. But before that, he couldn’t see the power cable which was in the TV box. He looked again and seen it. I don’t recommend! Very unprofessional, impatient small local business. Don’t ever pay upfront. Will never use him/them again!

Jason installed tv in my parents house. Such a nice guy very pleasant and had the tv up in no time. Thanks Jason would highly recommend and will use this service again 😁

The Handyman was recommended to me and it was bit of a lifesaver. I got an answer from someone straight away and got my furniture fixed the same day. Plus the workman was great. All round a great experience especially as the tradespeople I tried to call or message to get hold of before I tried them didn’t bother to get back to me. Very efficient service. took all the rubbish away, Will certainly use this service again
