I booked GCA in back in November and was quoted £12.40 per hour for my event, which I was happy with and I booked it in on the spot. Then I received a call 4 days before my festival telling me that I would have to pay £18 per hour, driving the overall cost up around £700. Eventually they came down to £17.50 as some sort of 'generous offer'. Absolutely disgusting treatment it is very hard to get last minute security, especially on May bank holiday weekend. I refused to proceed out of principle. Based on my experience I would avoid this company at all costs!!
