I have used Essex Maintenance for many years and had great personal service every time. Essex Maintenance have been extremely helpful in the past when needing advice and providing solutions(spare parts)to keeping my old boiler going until it was finally changed for the new model ( thank you Martyn for suggesting the ideal boiler)that has proven a great improvement for us as a family; warm and quiet. Serving is straightforward and the engineer is always punctual. The staff have been very helpful and friendly every time. When my boiler was fitted the engineer went above and beyond fixing a few other issues I had as part of the job. I was in particular happy with the replacement and re-sizing of the radiator.

Have used Essex Maintenance for years, as do all my family. They are always a first point of contact for any plumbing heating needs etc for maintenance or repair. Response times excellent even when I had an emergency (drilled through a pipe) at 8pm on a Sunday evening. Can not recommend highly enough.

We recently completed a single story extension and took the opportunity to completely redo our heating system. This involved moving boilers, underfloor heating, new thermostats, pipework, instating a plant room. The guys at Essex maintenance were outstanding from design to installation, prompt, competitively priced and most importantly tidy!!

Very disappointed with this company. A routine gas safety visit resulted in my cream carpet being burned, despite a protective mat being placed down. What followed was weeks of back-and-forth before a full carpet replacement was finally agreed. When I raised a complaint, I was spoken to in a rude and disrespectful manner, being told that because I am a tenant, “nothing in your home belongs to you” and that I should “get it into my thick skull”. I was also threatened with having my gas supply cut off. The only positive part of my experience was Elliot, who was professional, polite and apologetic throughout. Poor customer service, damage to my property, and completely unacceptable behaviour when I tried to raise concerns

We have used Essex maintenance for the last few years. They did an excellent job of servicing and repairing our old boiler. When the time came to replace it they gave us a really reasonable quote and installed it quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend!
