Beware of this company's billing! We bought this apartment about a year ago and moved in last October, but we have NEVER used the existing DFS system since that time. We don't even have an entry/exit code, and only contacted DFS Ltd. because of a persistent, shrill peeping noise that meant we wouldn't be able to sleep later that evening. An engineer came out around 9:30 p.m., read the display screen, which said there was a low battery, so he replaced the battery and left. We thought he had to do this to stop the peeping, so made no inquiry about it. We were also impressed by the prompt service. We have now received a bill for 193.20 GBP which claims that the 'intruder alarm fault' was repaired, but this is untrue!! When I phoned to question this I was told that the after-hours charge was 137 GBP, while the rest was the cost of the replacement battery plus overall VAT (32.20 GBP). We have never used and are not planning ever to use this alarm system, but feel very strongly that we ought to have been made aware of all the possible options as well as the out-of-hours standing charge before anyone showed up. The repair that is claimed on the invoice was not carried out. Do be warned!!!!!!!

Can't say much about their services but if it's anything like their driving, they are reckless. Cut out in front of me then straight through a red light. Not very professional
