My experience with Cloud Nine Estate has been extremely disappointing. I applied for a property around 23–24 June and paid the holding deposit promptly. I completed all the required referencing and documentation without delay. After that, I sent around 5–6 emails asking for an update because I needed to know whether my application had been approved so I could give notice to my current landlord. Unfortunately, I received no response whatsoever. No updates, no communication, and no acknowledgement of my emails. On 6 July, I finally called the office myself. During the call, I was told that the lack of communication was due to a mistake by their team. If the agency accepts that the error was on their side, then someone should also take responsibility for the consequences. By that point, I had completely lost confidence in the process and asked them to cancel my application. What made the experience even worse was being told that my holding deposit would not be refunded, despite the communication failure being entirely on their side. The money is not the main issue for me. The real problem is the complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism. A simple update or response to my emails could have prevented this entire situation. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, reviews what went wrong, and improves the way applicants are treated in the future. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cloud Nine Estate.
