Care Clean

One star feels generous here. I don't normally complain or leave bad reviews, mistakes happen, it's fine, but in this case I am genuinely very upset. My friend brought a couple of dresses here that I had made, she clarified that they were hand made. One of the dresses had a lot of beading on the bodice, which made it quite delicate - hence why it needed to be cleaned professionally. We got the dresses back yesterday, and found out that Care Clean had put them in a washing machine. As a result, a lot of the beads had come off of the dress. I am really unhappy with this, the reason It went to them in the first place was because I can't just put it in the washing machine, that much should have been obvious to anyone who cleans clothes professionally. They also did not ask permission from or inform my friend that they were going to use the machine. Again, mistakes happen, but this carelessness from Care Clean has ruined months of my work on this dress, and caused damage that is going to be incredibly hard to repair. I am genuinely devastated, I felt very proud of having made that dress. The cherry on top here, is that they did not even succeed in getting the stain out of the dress. I personally would like an apology.

Absolutely ruined the hand beading on TWO dresses that we brought to the dry cleaners specifically so the beading would remain untouched. We were told on the day that we dropped them off that the dresses would be hand-washed to avoid any damage to the beading and that the stains that we had concerns with could be fully cleaned with no issue. We reiterated multiple times that the beading was done by hand and that the dresses needed to be returned in good condition because they were going to be in an upcoming art exhibition. We also stated this on two different occasions as we went into the establishment twice. We got the dresses back on the date that they told us was the 'latest possible day' they would still be working on them in HORRIBLE condition. Chunks of beads were missing, there were patches with thread exploding out of the fabric, and beads that had just GONE MISSING. They returned a handful of beads but there were still quite a few missing. Upon handing them over we were told that they were put in the washing machine, despite reiterating multiple times to us that they would be hand washed because of their delicate nature. The stains that we were promised would come out were also still on the dress upon getting them back. We got them back incredibly in an incredibly disappointing state, and were not offered any compensation for the damage done to the garment that we were promised would be hand-washed.

Had my curtains cleaned. Was advised that there could be a problem with the chrome rings & thermal lining but they were all good. Fantastic communication from the start and very pleased with the result

Care Clean accepted a dress from my wife not knowing her missing diamond bracelet was caught onto the fabric. Care Clean staff found it, and telephoned my wife to advise her that they had found her bracelet, untangled it, and attached it to her dress in a package prior to its return. Thank you from both of us for your unfettered honesty in returning this jewellery, it really means the world to us! 🙏

Used Care Clean for years (10+) for all my dry cleaning. Would highly recommend. Friendly and professional staff, reasonable rates, and quick turnaround on cleaning. Never had any issues.
