5 most relevant · via GoogleDo NOT use this company. We used them for a (still) outstanding bill of £6,000 from tex-tenants. Despite asking the Absolute Enforcement Officers to visit the debtors new property outside of working hours, they visted 5x times during working hours and only once in the evening stating "its down to number of visits in the area as to what time they visit". We still have no resolution but we can pay another £520 for the next stage. Was that their intention all along?
Absolute shambles more like!! I am NOT surprised to read the bad reviews as I have experiences the same shambles service! They have no desire to work for the claimant - took months to undertake each visit to the defendant in which time the defendant got them selves on the register to avoid having assets seized! They are a joke and wont take any responsibility for their lack of action! Need zero stars if I could - stay away for your own sanity...
Very disappointing experience. I instructed Absolute Enforcement in May 2025 to enforce a judgment, but the Writ expired after 12 months without successful recovery. Much more effective to instruct a lawyer and get a THIRD PARTY DEBT ORDER against the debtor. Their website states: (1) “offering fast, lawful, and effective solutions for creditors, landlords, solicitors, and businesses.” (2) “recovering what you’re owed — whether it’s money, assets, or property.” (3) “we have comprehensive contracts with a number of high-profile Private Investigation Companies which use up to date tracing and financial database technology to quickly find the defendant to allow our High Court Enforcement Agents (Bailiffs) to obtain swift collection.” (4) “We can then enforce if we know the defendant’s address often, within a few days of the client’s instruction.” In my experience, these statements do not fully reflect the practical limitations of the enforcement route, especially because Absolute Enforcement later confirmed that they do not deal with freezing or securing company bank accounts. In my opinion, creditors should be clearly warned that, if the debtor is aware of the law and refuses entry at a residential or mixed residential/business address this type of enforcement has limited practical value. The problem is not simply that recovery failed. The problem is that the marketing impression of “swift collection” and “effective solutions” does not match the practical reality in these cases.
I asked Absolute Enforcement to enforce a court order and recover a 10,000 pounds debt a year ago. They took about 300 pounds in advance but then they realized that they could not actually enforce the order, so they just went 3 times to the debtor's property over a year period, took some beautiful pictures of it and sent them to me. They claimed they knocked but there was no answer so they just left a notice and left the property without doing anything else. They did not keep proof of the notice they left either. At some point they mentioned the debtor had gone bankrupt and was evicted out of his property but they did not provide any evidence despite my requests. Today I received from them a confirmation email that they have to close the case and how sorry they are they failed to recover the debt! Most outrageous of all is that they are demanding an additional 90 pound fee to close the case! Not sure what this additional 90 pound fee and the 300 they took upfront cover...Ah...it must be for the beautiful pictures of the property they took and sent over!!! What a bunch of grifters that should be avoided at any cost! I am planning to file a formal complaint against this company. They advertise they provide services they do not and take people's money without doing anything or adding any value.
I had an issue with someone claiming to provide a work visa for a friend, it was not materialising and upfront payment was not refunded. It was like a scam and i had to go through county court to get the money back as the person was not willing to repay or respond. I had applied for claim and county court provided judgement in favour of my claim and the claimant was still not repaying. The county court advised to go through one of the approved collection agency to get the money back. I had found Absolute Enforcement from the list and contacted them about my case, they advised to make an application with them to recover the money with further court order from higher court that they did for me with the county court judgement. It took about an year to go through the process and recover the money. Finally it was recovered and Absolute Enforcement provided updates on the process and progress and recovered the money as expected. So highly recommend Absolute Enforcement service for similar money claims that requires collection agency.
