It’s incredibly convenient if you have lectures on the main campus, as everything is right on your doorstep. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help with any questions or support you might need. It’s also a fantastic place to meet people and make friends, which really enhances the whole experience. I’ve really enjoyed living here and have always felt welcome and comfortable
Wrexham Student Village is a great place to stay! The location is super convenient, just a short walk to campus. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a strong sense of community. It’s a safe, welcoming environment that really feels like home.
Very enjoyable stay and very nice rooms/communal areas
Small rooms and poor quality beds, room is fairly nice, strict regulations by security on site and invasive room searches. Bathroom plugs do not work, and toilet flushes with barely any water and gets stuck permenently flushing sometimes. Staff are nice, but security are not. Huffing, puffing and being rude whenever they have to do their jobs. Kitchen is big and theres multiple stoves if theres more than one person cooking. Not a lot of fridge space per person. Walls are fairly thin, with my friend sometimes hearing me all the way from across the corridor when talking loudly.
The best part about the student village is its location, being sandwiched by the university, town centre and the stadium which makes attending lectures and shopping convenient( and if your lucky a view of the stadiums pitch). The accommodation also features a vending machine in the washing room which is pretty good if you’re like me and are too lazy to walk to a shop for snacks. Accommodation staff are also alright people if you don’t get on their nerves. The kitchen provided features all you would need and if inclined makes for a good hangout space for flat mates and guests alike. The room itself is where this accommodation starts to slip up, the main portion features all you need as does the bathroom, but due to shoddy ventilation mould will grow everywhere in the bathroom and this will cost you in cleaning products through your tenancy. The plumbing is also questionable, the toilet bowls will regularly stain and will require constant weekly cleaning. Accommodation maintenance is another point of concern, maintenance will only fix something if it will cost them more later down the line and if a previous tenant has stained or broken something you will have the chance of having the blame put onto you if they can’t chase them up. Overall it does its job as student accommodation but will run up a tab if your not constantly on top of the issues that lacklustre construction has created.
