This university has its staff allowing students to harass fellow students on placement and at home. My family member was bullied to the point of nearly dying by another student- they made them join a WhatsApp group- except it wasn’t them that joined, it started off alright they could send messages but on the night before training their account was hacked and it made them appear to post really stupid messages. She can’t locate the messages as they were not sent from her phone so they’re gone, but as a result the professional lead for nursing has invoked professional suitability of practice- this has encouraged her to come off all social media, she’s in a happier place but feels like all the lecturers are against her given the lack of support and accountability. She has no access to the library or university email account. As far as she knows despite completing a dissertation she will know never be a nurse and we believe it’s because of the bullying. I have experience working in quality control on the line in many different sites where my role was to increase sales from warehouse to shop floors of Oxford Street. I want talented international students whom are nervous about the election and are feeling put off to not be nervous to apply to this institution if they feel it right. The university as a whole has never been an issue. The good university departments are those managed by Simon and Paul, art and gaming design are exceptional courses through which people with different learning and backgrounds can excel. Mechanical engineering and allowing students to advance their differential skills to partial differential equations is useful but what the university gets right is the facilities for students to see how that impacts real engineering work. The bad is the bullying happening here, happening right now possibly which has and is ruining lives. The good guys like Simon and Paul you just can’t speak with them- there is a system which prevents you from accessing them. It starts by someone whom is a mentor building rapport with my family member so she trusts them, then they bring the student union. The staff member from there is secretly handing over information to The dean of health and partnerships, whom is now essentially changing the name of their role on a daily basis to avoid any perception of association with the students, student union and Paul. Overall, this is an atrocious story about how someone who tried so hard was deliberately lied to by the staff that should have been the most trustworthy. In the end my family member had all their remaining mentoring appointments cancelled but the name of the person whom made that decision is unknown but we will pikely never know.

My experience with the placement component of this programme was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about oversight, accountability, and follow-through. As part of my course, I was directed toward placement opportunities through university-approved providers, including HealthGenic Solutions. During this process, I encountered issues that made me uncomfortable regarding how certain opportunities were presented. I raised these concerns with the university at the time and later submitted supporting evidence. In addition, I was given assurances by university staff that further information and clarification would be provided regarding placement opportunities and related concerns. However, in my experience, those assurances were not followed through in a timely or clear manner, which added to the uncertainty and frustration. Although the university acknowledged receiving my evidence, my complaint remained closed on procedural grounds, and I was not provided with any meaningful explanation or transparency about how the matter was assessed or what actions, if any, were taken. In my view, when concerns are raised about an approved placement provider—especially alongside supporting evidence—there should be a fair and transparent process that focuses on the substance of the issue rather than strictly on procedural deadlines. That was not my experience. Overall, this has significantly affected my confidence in how student concerns are handled, particularly where third-party providers are involved. I expected a higher level of communication, accountability, and follow-through from the university. I would strongly advise prospective students to approach placement opportunities with caution, to verify all details independently, and to keep thorough records of all communications.

They gave fake commitments, they changed term letter without any notice. Then, they emailed me and gave me commitment regarding full time work after dissertation submission. Then, again they changed their commitment. Very bad experience with this university. Every University gives summer holidays but they cancelled without any notice.

Terrible university. Online MBA course and all I needed was access to the online portal to complete my dissertation however, I was never able to do this due to technical errors on their part. I tried to call the university for 6 months with phone calls, emails, call back requests however NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK!! You hold for 20 minutes where it says 'I'm sorry, there is no one available to take your call at the moment and your being held in a queue' however after holding the phone cuts you off. I've emailed tutors, student success and NO ONE replies, why? Because I've had an extension and the tutors are not being paid. I'll be requesting a refund of £5k I have paid for the course because no one is replying to me. Absolute joke, just plain rude and unprofessional.
