On Saturday I was sent to the ward for assessment. Kept Nil By Mouth for 36 hours. Taken to theatre at 3am on Monday for emergency appendectomy. Good post op care and was out at about 3pm on Tuesday. Pain was well managed but an AMERICAN doctor said that I was ‘overreacting’.

The staff in maternity triage, the children’s ward and the delivery suite are the most caring, reassuring people that are amazing at their job, we’ve had the pleasure being under their care and cannot fault them, they should be proud. Post natal ward was pretty shocking though! Felt we needed to put in a complaint, handful of lovely midwives mostly which are students, one midwife treated me like I was stupid when having trouble trying breastfeed my baby (first time mom so a lot of patience and care would’ve been rather appreciated) we were left most of the time in the corner of the room to basically get on with it ourselves as first time parents without much support. The noise coming from the staff outside the wards is just unbelievable after giving birth and wanting to rest - this was nearly impossible with the staff sounding like they were having a full on get together at 2am! Please take this into account and show some consideration for your patients!

Was delivered with sirens , collected by two ambulance medics ,superb care .Taken to Royal Worcestershire Acute Hospital. Am 82 , this was my first Hospital stay. Apprehensive to say the least. Had a heart problem, the amount of care and attention over my weeks stay was beyond five stars. Life saving. Follow up proceedure has been as good, my Heart Doctor ,Rachel Hunt, at Bewdley is superb .Do exactly as told, never taken tablets before except Rosuvastatin . Now on six heart tablets a day Cannot thank NHS enough Dave Jones..

I was reluctant to contact my GP (just because they're so busy) until I reached the stage I was struggling to eat and drink because of pain. But that time it was Saturday morning and my GP was shut. The Out of Hours GP at Worcestershire Royal saw me the same morning, was a fabulous lady called Sarah who made me laugh(!), and I was back home with antibiotics by lunchtime. What a marvelously efficient example of our NHS really working! Thanks to all involved!

Hospital care fantastic and seen on time but parking is a joke. Sat in the same place on the car park for 50 minutes queuing to leave without moving. Still got ages to get out I would imagine as there appears no end to it! Apparently this seems to be a regular occurrence in the afternoon so why is nothing done?
