Wickes Wakefield

I managed to park without incident. Maybe I was just lucky? I only used one parking space and my estate car fitted between the lines of the one bay. I was only in there for about 15 minutes, mainly because Danni was so helpful in processing my order. Prices were bang on, and delivery organised exactly how i needed it. Spotionio!

I'd like to give a big shout out to Kaitlyn in the Wakefield wickes store, she is an asset to your team and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and I cant thank her enough, I called by phone today as my Nana who is based in Wakefield needed a semi recessed basin replacing and my father who is based is Huddersfield was going to undertake the work but required my help in sourcing one, and I am based in South Wales. The information on the recess of the basin was missing online which is why I called the store to see if they had the measurements to hand or if they could measure the basin in store which Kaitlyn was more than happy to. One star lost as I overheard the manager Mark speaking with Kaitlyn stating that the measurements are online and gave the same measurements quoted online to relay to myself (these were for the overall width, length and depth) because I then clarified the piece that needed measuring and asked if this could be measured, I overheard Mark saying "why are customers so needy and why does it matter". I still wanted to give a high rating as Kaitlyn was amazing.

Steph went above and beyond for me today and I couldn't be more grateful! 💜 We just moved and it's been impossible to find the colour I wanted for my bedroom - until I saw the Dulux mix your own and found one! When I went to the desk to ask about getting one made up, I was told the machine was broken, but Steph stepped up and went to investigate. She managed to get it working and got the colour I wanted made up super quickly! It may just be a small thing, but the moving process has been super tough and I didn't want to delay decorating any longer than I needed to, so this means the absolute world. Thank you!

I have been shopping here for about 4 years, the staff is enthusiastic and responsible, I am very satisfied and will introduce my friends to shop. I am especially impressed with the way they deliver to my house, very different from some similar stores I order from, thank you
