I am writing to formally complain about a deeply distressing experience my group and I had with a member of security staff during Bongos Bingo in Liverpool last night. We attended the event as a group of approximately eight people and were allocated a table on arrival. In order to ensure our table was not taken, members of our group took turns going to the bar while others remained seated. Around 20 minutes after arriving, one of the Titan security bouncers approached our table and began shouting aggressively at us, demanding that we move. I calmly attempted to explain that members of our group were temporarily away from the table and would be returning shortly. Despite this, the bouncer continued to act in an intimidating manner, smacked our table, and threatened to remove us from the venue if we did not move. At this point, we were completely sober and felt shocked and intimidated by his behaviour. Although we moved slightly to comply, the situation escalated further when the same bouncer grabbed my friend by the back of the neck and aggressively offered to “take him outside” for a fight. My friend immediately apologised, and fortunately the bouncer released him. However, this physical contact and threat were completely unacceptable and left us feeling extremely unsafe. Following this incident, I went to the front entrance to seek assistance, as we felt uneasy and unsure how to continue with the evening. The security staff positioned at the door were polite, professional, and supportive, and they offered appropriate advice on how to proceed. Unfortunately, this only highlighted how unacceptable the earlier bouncer’s behaviour was and how it reflects poorly on an otherwise professional team. Security staff are meant to ensure the safety and comfort of guests, not intimidate or physically threaten them. The conduct displayed by this individual was wholly inappropriate and has left us with a very negative impression of the event and the security company involved. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and that appropriate action is taken to ensure no other guests are subjected to similar treatment in the future.

I had an incredibly upsetting experience with Titan Security while attending Bongo’s Bingo in Liverpool with a large group for my birthday, including two wheelchair users. Their staff’s behaviour was aggressive, discriminatory, and completely unprofessional. From the moment we arrived, the Titan security guards showed no regard for accessibility needs. Both wheelchair users in my party were made to queue in a long line with no help or support. One of their guards refused entry to two guests over their smart clothing (combat trousers and branded shorts), while allowing others in football-style gear to enter freely. Once inside, things got even worse. A Titan guard told my aunty — who is disabled — to get out of her wheelchair or leave. TEN security guards surrounded us in an intimidating manner. No alternative seating or support was offered, and her wheelchair was folded and placed against a fire exit — the same exit they had claimed she was blocking. When I asked the guard for his badge ID, he argued with me and only allowed a photo after I insisted and had my phone out ready. He did not willingly offer it as claimed later by their team. The whole situation was hostile and humiliating for us and our disabled guests. The Titan team then proceeded to twist the facts in follow-up communication, denying what was clearly caught on CCTV and witnessed by others. I've now reported this to Trading Standards and will also be escalating the issue to the SIA, as I believe the conduct of the guards breaches basic standards of equality, professionalism, and safety. Titan Security should not be providing public-facing services if this is how they treat vulnerable guests. I would strongly advise any venue to reconsider working with them.

I was very impressed by the quality of security when attending an event at Blackstone Warehouse recently. Big shoutout to Becky who was by the mainstage and helping out wherever she could & filling up water bottles for those in the crowd with limited accessibility. We appreciate you Becky! 🙏🏽💚
