After moving into an older property, we realised some of the wiring needed attention and a few lights were not working properly. The Tool Box Electrical Services came out, found the faults quickly, and explained what needed doing in a very clear and down to earth way. The work was completed to a high standard and the team were polite, hardworking, and respectful of our home the whole time.

Took advantage of my disabled brother over charging him x3 (we called after the job was done and he said 2k and charged us 8k)doesnt now answer calls.) what it should have cost. Said it would take 2 weeks took two months due to haphazard work pattern which annoyed everyone in the neighbourhood as they chased out for wiring, only turning up a couple of hours a day. We had the main guy out to check and he said the work was up to standard and wanted paying the final installation payment. Unlevel sockets all wonky wiring not boxed in causing us to call in a different electrian to make lose wiring and wonky sockets good. Even they where shocked with the work carried out. Awful person you have been warned! Pictures below I wish I had taken more as it doesn't show all.

Fitted us in last minute to resolve an electrical fault in the kitchen we had been racking our brains on to figure out. Sam, the chap who arrived was polite and efficient, found the fault in 25 minutes and rectified it swiftly. Overall great communication throughout, problem solve quickly, quote given ahead of arrival. I will recommend in future and will use again.

Poor service all round. They had to rewire one of our rooms - in doing so, they unwired bits that shouldn’t have been unwired, installed a plug socket in an awkward place for no reason and that we’ll never use, and left red dust all over the place from drilling into the walls. Communication is poor - they will say they need to come over today and give a very vague explanation why - then arrive two days later very late in the day, begin carrying out a different job and leave it half finished til tomorrow. On one occasion this meant the electrician who came over had to leave again, seething at his boss for giving him the wrong job brief meaning he wasn’t equipped for the job he was actually there for. Manager Dave is impossible to get hold off and will actively ignore your messages asking him to come back and fix the problems his team creates. Avoid these people; sure they’ll do a job but they’ll leave you with homework in the process. UPDATE: The company have responded to my review calling it ‘fake’, it’s not. Sorry Dave, you’re just going to have to not suck at managing an electrician company. Also, the rewire was *3* years ago.
