Stoke-on-Trent Repairs and maintenance service

Booked in for Thursday 8-12 according to a email from a customer service advisor. No one turned up and no one replied to my emails sent afterwards querying why. At least under unitas they turned up.

Been waiting two weeks to get the mould looked at and they still haven't turned up, I've been in this property 14 months and I've had none stop problems. I'm disabled and vulnerable, doesn't that count for nothing.

They were very kind, polite and professional. They arranged for me to have assisted bin collections due to my severe osteoporosis which has resulted me having the bones of an 86 yr old lady, 20 years older than my actual age. Given me peace of mind that my bins will be collected, emptied and put back in my driveway and not half way up the street like they have been dumped on many occasions previously, I am at high risk of falls and am still getting over 7 pelvic fractures that happened in late August 2023 and taken 9 months to get back on my feet and walking again. I would like to thank the dept for all their help arranging this for me.

Absolutely fantastic service to repair leaking pipes in an elderly relative's bathroom, which were presenting a slip hazard. Spoke to a very helpful lady on the phone line at 9am, and the gentleman who came out had the job completed and tidied away by 9.50am. He was helpful and pleasant and took the time to let her look at the bathroom and thank him. Fantastic service all round, thank you so much.

When you finally can get through on the phone after nearly 3 hours on hold. They come out mess around for half an hour then say the can’t do the job until Severn trent have been out to sort the top outside which doesn’t exist. Absolutely shocking. No wonder folk buy their own properties because this council is absolutely disgusting. Would rather leave there tenants with mould than sort the issue out. My thoughts are sod the council I have work done at my home personally cut the council out full stop I paid to have a new bath installed because council don’t give a damn and no I didn’t ask permission and no I will NOT be asking permission when I have my new kitchen fitted either. Why ask for a shoddy job and wait years when I can get a job done myself within 3 days. Rubbish council rubbish service. Rubbish customer service to phone lines you can’t get through on they say save time go online yeah what a joke that is takes longer than there rubbish telephone staff painting there nails talking there usual rubbish that nobody cares about. They use Covid as a pathetic excuse. Grow up get in there real world stop being snowflake bone idle idiots. I would rate the service at zero star if I could.
