Springfield Dykes of Gray

Well intentioned but often fail to follow through on promises. Also a very strange relationship with the factoring company who maintain their sites, ScreenAutumn, who are fond of clobbering residents with huge and random bills. Be very careful; get everything in writing; make sure you have a good solicitor; challenge anything that looks fishy.

I have been in my house for just over 1 year. On day 1 reported cracks in the Render . 1 year on still waiting for repairs to be carried out. My advice to others would be check over house before signing on the dotted line !!

Sadly our experience hasn't been great with Springfield. Four years after buying a new Springfield home, the outside rendering began falling off. We called in the NHBC who did a survey and reported that Springfield applied the rendering badly in the first place. Ball is now in Springfield's court to fix this, but they're not answering emails and hiding behind ludicrous excuses. We're hoping it won't take legal action to get this solved, but right now, their customer service is basically non-existent. So just be warned: their homes look great, but the build quality may be questionable and the support if things go wrong is woeful.

Visiting my son and family

Not bad houses but a massive difference in price between Dundee and Perth made us think twice.
