SMT JOINERY & PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Shaun is the kind of joiner you almost want to keep a secret, because finding a genuinely great tradesperson is rare. But he deserves all the praise. We first used Shaun a few years ago when he built beautiful alcove cabinets in our loft. The quality of the work was outstanding, so when we finally got around to more projects we knew exactly who to contact. This time he fitted a pantry, utility, floating shelving, a gate and ikea pax with mdf doors. He was with us for over two weeks and it was genuinely a pleasure having him around - honest, reliable and incredibly skilled. A few months later someone swung on one of the new doors he’d installed. I messaged Shaun just asking for advice, and he turned up the next day to fix it for us! He has such a humble appreciation for his customers. I’ll happily recommend Shaun again and again. Can’t wait to get him working on another project soon.

Shaun replaced five very old doors in our rather wonky home, and the results are absolutely fantastic! He’s a real professional: highly-skilled, efficient and also incredibly tidy which is a bonus! Thanks Shaun, we hope to have you back for more work in the future.

Shaun has played an instrumental role in the refurbishment of our Victorian villa in Roundhay over the past two years. He has undertaken a range of joinery projects including bespoke cabinetry, fitted wardrobes, storage, bookcases, shelving, cladding, fencing and decking. He is very reliable, trustworthy, a good communicator, enjoyable to work with and brings lots of imagination and enthusiasm to the inevitable challenges of working with an older property. Having worked with many trades on this project Shaun particularly stands out. I would have absolutely no hesitation is recommending him.

Having previously used Shaun to fit some doors for us, we hired him to design, build and fit a hallway storage cupboard for coats and shoes. Shaun got the idea of how we wanted the cupboard to look and work for us and we were thrilled with the design. He took a lot of care to prep the walls etc that the cupboard was to be fixed to and exceeded our expectations in terms of looks and quality of build. We already have him lined up for more jobs. Professional from start to finish-would highly recommend.

We are absolutely thrilled with the units / desk area that Shaun designed and made for us for this space . He was reliable , friendly and the absolute best joiner / furniture maker we’ve had ( and we’ve had a few ) . From initial contact until completion Shaun could not have done a better job for us , his attention to detail was second to none and we can’t wait to get it painted and start filling it ! Thanks Shaun . Next jobs being discussed as we do this review 🤣🤣
