I originally found Shining Windows on google maps when I moved here and was looking for a new window cleaner, I read the reviews and thought to myself.. How does someone achieve such a high rating, consistently. I must try them out for myself! I have never looked back since, I am lucky to have had someone for so long, in fact its my longest relationship with a local company. Matt and Cass run a lovely tight ship, their business model is exemplary. I first used their service in 2019 and have been using them ever since due to the insane quality of cleaning, I will clarify: they transformed the green and mouldy window frames, cladding and conservatory into something that looked almost new. The clean was completed later than expected due to the weather being appalling at the time, rescheduled three times and not a problem. I placed an order and it was completed within two weeks of payment, it was November and they were still working... Amazing commitment to their business. I have my windows cleaned every other month, its easy to book and make payment online, I even get discount coupons every now and then which save me money on my yearly services i.e gutter clearance, which every house needs. Highly rated quality of service and the service providers Matt and Cass are so professional and importantly they're incredibly kind people. I can honourably recommend them just like the rest of the real reviews left for these people, they're amazing at what they do! Thank you so much!

I contacted shining windows to book an internal and external window clean for a property that I was moving into. The previous tenants were smokers and the framework was excessively stained. Matthew had complications with the initial delivery of cleaning products and we rescheduled for another date and upon arriving Matthew completed a brilliant service removing a vast majority of the excessive staining from the frames, and has offered to come back to give them a second go. This are smoke stains over a very long period of time. The service was professional and Matt was very polite. Thank you.

Called shining windows today to book in an external window clean in Northampton they happen to be in my area and close by so visited and cleaned the windows. The windows look brilliant very clean removing the dust and slight amount of algae that was on there and the water has dried naturally making them look brilliant. The shine is amazing. Will be using them again thank you very much guys, okay

Cleaning was very good, they know what they're doing. Customer service has always been fine, we had extra sessions for free due to certain circumstances. Communication has always been easy, if they needed to cancel we were told in advance and they rebooked it automatically for another day. They always call when they're heading to your house to give you time to get ready. Matt takes his job seriously and tries to be on the top of the market regarding to cleaning products and technology. He even gave me free advice about how to clean my patio floors, recommended products and where to purchase them. And last but not least, I really enjoy his conversations, very lovely man.

If you read this. Do not use this service. It is a scam. The owner has this wild scheme and script he uses on customers. It goes like this. - You inquire - They contact you - You agree - They send invoice and hound you to pay up front before the job. - all communications are lost after payment - they either do not turn up to the jobs or tune up extremely late - the stay less then 24 seconds as recorded on my cctv - accuses you of being intimidating and rude towards them - they drive off and send you email 10 minutes later saying that you will get refund - after perfuming refund they say you will not get a refund. This pathetic business scams people. And this is how it went for us. My partner booked this service and we paid up front. Our booking was for 1pm and 2pm as we booked two properties with them. They called us at 12:50pm to say they will be with us in 20 minutes. My partner said okay it’s fine. Now it’s 1:30pm and call them to ask how long they would be after stating I have a booking at 1pm at my address. The guy hangs up on me. I called them back asking why did you just hang up on me and he said he didn’t like the way I talked to him and made him feel intimidated. I said I only asked how long you will be as I was getting delayed. He said he will be another 15 minutes. I said okay. When you come to my property. The access is from behind as the front there is no parking. He said okay fine. He turned up at 2pm. Knocked on the wrong door at this point I already saw him in my cctv and came to the back garage. I called him over and the first thing he said is “is this your car, can you move it please” I said okay. I got in the car and moved it. He stood there leaning on my bins asked my partner how she was feeling. At this time she replied said not well actually as we are delayed due to you coming late. All this in a very nice manner. He replied saying do you want us to continue the job, she said yes of course. We already paid and waited as well. In Thai moment he turned around and said you will get a refund and said thank you for being rude. Got in his van and drove off. All in under 24 seconds all recorded on cctv. I asked what happened to my partner who is also pregnant. She said I didn’t say a thing wrong or rude. He just drove off. This man couldn’t even wait for me to come back and speak to me, he thought he was being manly treating a pregnant woman in such a disgraceful way. Within 10/25 minutes we received a email saying that they arrived in time and that they could have continued the job, that they weren’t told about parking restrictions and access. And how they felt intimidated and felt we were being rude to them and creating a hostile environment. In which the email also stays we will get a refund. I will produce and share all proof that we were never rude or never intimidating in any way. We were polite and just were concerned about our timing. We have the right to ask how long it will be until they arrive without the business owner getting scared a frustrated. I am now sure how this is sane or that this is a very well scripted and versed scam that they play out with customers that they have scammed in similar situations. They have now emailed back saying that the refund was “we will look into the matter” and said we will not get a refund after they looked at their policies that they have created to scam people. Do not use this services. If you wish to, do not pay up front. The man is a con artist. Very unprofessional. Not suitable for running a business as intimidated by a polite pregnant lady and very rude communications via phone and emails. In our case we never made any hostile environments. This director of the company is clearly not fit to run a company in the manner he is running it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
