Sedum Green Roof

Fantastic experience ordering a sedum green roof for our clients. Toby clearly explained the process from ordering to laying to aftercare, and the materials were delivered promptly. The sedum looks absolutely beautiful and our clients and architect are blown away. Very well done on such a wonderful product and service. We will definitely be returning customers.

Where possible, we like to purchase as local as possible. Sedum Green Roof supplies were one of the nearest Sedum roof suppliers to us. After looking at their website and Insta photos, we requested a visit to see the Sedum trays. Located in a beautiful village, we were met by Toby at their fields where the Sedum is grown. We were shown the process and what materials go into the trays. All questions we asked were answered (we had quite a few !). The Sedum looked fabulous. We ordered the trays a week later and decided to collect them ourselves on a convenient date. Using a tailgate hire van saved us on delivery costs, our driveway would not have accommodated a bigger vehicle. The tail lift also made it easier to load the Sedum trays onto our single storey roof. On the day of collection, the van was loaded very professionally, with 4 full pallets of Sedum. I was on my way home within 40 minutes. 4 hours later the trays were all placed and interlocked together, transforming the flat roof on our property. The system allows a very easy install. All the trays are of the same grade and despite being stacked for transportation, look healthy and full of growth. Toby had fertilised prior to collection. We would highly recommend Sedum Green Roof, they passed on alot of knowledge and have emailed a maintenance/care info pack. I am able to contact Toby, with any further questions and advice, should it be required. From initial contact to the finished roof, we are extremely happy that we purchased this living roof system from Sedum Green roof. I would highly recommend Sedum Green Roof. They were easy to deal with and were very patient with some hitches at our end. A British family firm that don't try to upsell you extras you don't need but happy to provide everything you do need at a good price. The sedum looks great. We've put it on a huge flat roof so installed a drip system for when we're away but we're hoping the plants will grow over the pipe. The plants have certainly perked since installation. It has transformed the view out of the windows from an expanse of black to a bed of green!

Great experience purchasing from Sedum Green Roof. I first contacted them last year and promptly received a quote and a polite follow up. At the time we decided to defer the cost to this year. I went back to Sedum who again responded promptly and checked the quote was still good. Delivery was arranged really quickly and the delivery company were great, they phoned me in advance and were really polite and helpful. We followed the guidance given and unstacked them on day of delivery and by the next morning the Sedum that was a bit squished had bounced back. We laid a 12m sq plot in a couple of hours, very easy to install. A couple of trays got corners damaged in transit but we just placed these in the middle so you can't tell. This was laid today in February so it is greener than I was expecting for this time of year. Time will tell on how the plants thrive so I will try and remember to update this at the end of the year.
