Prokil Brighton Damp & Timber Specialists

I recently used Prokil for a damp issue in my flat in Brighton and had a really positive experience from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly without any pressure or upselling. They identified the source of the problem quickly and carried out the work efficiently and to a high standard. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and the property was left clean and tidy afterwards. Damp issues can be stressful, but Prokil made the whole experience much easier to deal with. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing damp proofing or related services.

We had a problem with penetrating damp and prokil were professional, friendly and efficient from start to finish with providing their services and fixing the problem. We got a few quotes from different providers and prokil were the only ones to really treat the root of the problem by clearing the wall cavity as well as putting in a damp proof membrane, all for a reasonable price. Matt and his colleagues were very considerate when carrying out the works and kept dust and mess to a minimum whilst working to high standard. We would definitely recommend prokil and are very happy with the service provided.

Prokil are superb. Simon is a fantastic lead - the guys working with him have a lot of respect for him and I think that shows a really cohesive and quality approach. From the top down, these guys know their stuff and do a great job. They did a super job of damp proofing a basement. I cannot recommend them enough and would always go to them again for their service and quality work. Great customer service, thank you Ruby and all the team! Lovely group of people too.

In 2021 we used Prokil to do a damp survey prior to purchasing our flat. They made some recommendations and we passed it on to our freeholder. 3 years later, the freeholder finally does the work to a very poor standard. We reached out to Prokil again, they provided us with an updated report showcasing that the work hadn’t been done to a good standard and then carried out the damp proofing work upon our instruction. They were professional, beyond helpful and even went above and beyond with their advice and minor touch up jobs even though our electrician made their days far more complicated than it needed to be. The flat looks much better now and will hopefully see us through the coming years without issues. Whilst you never know with damp in the UK, particularly in Brighton, I can only comment on the workmanship to date, I’m incredibly happy with the service we’ve received and should we have no issues, I would happily come back to give another 6th star rating if it were possible.

As an overseas landlord, I checked out a lot of places in Brighton to go an do an assessment of the mould and damp at my rental property. Prokil were very quick in responding and making the visit. I decided straight away to employ them and am very happy with their work. I would recommend them.
