Prima Cleaners Self Service Launderette

There are 4 washers and 4 dryers and it was indeed 24-hours. It was reasonably clean and everything worked perfectly. The washers say they will distribute detergent and softener automatically, but we chose a cycle that did not include that because we prefer to use our own detergent sheets. It’s 0.50 cheaper to use your own detergent, although there are no detergent drawers. This is a different set-up than laundromats in the US. It is basically a set of stacked washer/dryer combos in a sort of vestibule accessed by a door code provided by using the app. There is no real laundry folding area, just a small 2-foot wide counter. But because this is self-service and with no staff on site, I didn’t really trust the cleanliness of the counter anyway. It looked like a convenient place to eat a sandwich and assume that it was probably used for that. There is nowhere to sit, so we went to a coffee shop about a 3 minute walk away to wait for the cycles to finish. Everything runs through an app. If you haven’t downloaded it before you get here, there is free WiFi for you to log into. The details are posted inside the vestibule, and easily viewable through the glass. You will have to create an account to use the app, but the info required is minimal- name, email and password. The app did not store credit card info (although you could probably find a place to do that) but I was happy to not store it. I would absolutely recommend. We are traveling for 2 months using only carry on suitcases and we spend a fair amount of time doing laundry. This worked fine.

All went well. Is was easy to use. However 077 when doing the final spin, the door is shaky, like going to shake out. But after a while, it went normal. Dryer does it job. Their glass door got stuck abit while I was inside and their hotline open till 4pm only. I was glad another user came along to release me. Overall the experience was good. Deserve better stars.

The washing machines and dryers are in okay condition, but they need to be cleaned regularly. The place itself is messy and dirty. Using the app is pretty easy and convenient

The facility was clean and secure. Prices are a but high . The main criticism I have is that there is no place to fold laundry.

Handy if staying in a hotel nearby prices for a wash from £3.50 and you pay on there app. My first time using the service basics simple and efficient!! Will certainly use it again if I am working up this way
