Middleton Household Waste Recycling Centre

I never got the wonderful staff members name today 12/6/26 but my phone was accidentally dropped in the skip and the staff members were amazing, they went above and beyond to help find my phone. And honestly they didn’t have to do this but I’m beyond grateful for the help to find it and get it back to me. Thank you again to the staff member who did that for me I really appreciate it.

The whole team are fab! They keep everything moving quickly and super efficiently. They are friendly, helpful and consistently go above and beyond. Thank you for being great! 👍

My trip was very negative. A member of staff Shouted at me for putting rubble in the correct skip when he came over actually then agreed yes it was the right one!looked in the boot of my car and told me I was tipping too much in the skip when the bags in my car were what I’d just bought from shops to take back home to do my own DIY!!! Then warned me that my reg along with everyone else’s was being recorded so I could only come once a week to tip rubble like I was a trader getting rid of trade waste and had done something wrong!!😡 The last time I came to the tip was Around a month ago to take general rubbish. The bags I tipped this trip from my own home were not even half blue sacks so I could carry them easily out of the car not two 50litre sacks as stated on the board. What an awful place!!!! Talk about being singled out in front of everyone for no reason at all.

Helpful friendly staff, decent parking. Few skips out if use meant a bit of carrying up and down but all good

Very helpful staff to ensure items get placed in the correct recycling zone.
