Meanwood Household Waste Recycling Centre

Visited this morning and by miscount some items in the wrong skip 2 members of staff can over quickly. The women appeared aggressive and strong tone of voice informed where it should be as it gives her more work todo if I put it in the wrong skip. I informed her that the tone was aggressive and the guy told us in a polite mabbet which skip. The women then proceeded to stand chatting to a colleague for the remainder of our visit !!!

It’s good, I think the workers could suggest people could take things to charity shops more often , i was there today and somebody have a full tea sets, plates and forks, toys amd so forth, it’s not their fault people are wasteful, but suggestions could always be welcome especially since most people line up to ask them “ where does this go”

Great site, reasonable service. Classic Leeds council with too many rules!! Make it a truly recycle / reuse destination

Helpful and friendly staff. Always check their opening times on their website and NOT Google as they are different.

I always find a place to park next to the waste containers which it seems to me they empty the moment they get filled up. Good size for the neighbourhood
