The worst security company. This is easily one of the most unprofessional security companies I’ve dealt with. The service was disorganized, unreliable, and far below what anyone should expect from a company trusted with safety. Guards were frequently inattentive and poorly prepared, and basic responsibilities were either ignored or performed at the bare minimum—if at all. Communication was terrible; getting clear answers or timely responses felt like pulling teeth. When issues were raised, management showed little accountability and even less urgency to fix them. Hiring this company was a mistake. Instead of peace of mind, it created more problems and constant follow-ups just to get the basics done. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere unless you enjoy paying for excuses and subpar service. Avoid this place!

He also assaulted the person who was recording see photos as he wouldnt identity himself after screaming shouting and swearing. He also didn't seem to know the laws around his job and just what he was carrying out. Absolute disgusting.

Can’t fault these guys enough, we were in a situation being locked out of our apartment out of hours, and the building management were very unhelpful. Fortunately we contacted Magpie Security who understood our situation and came out straight away. Special thanks to Edwin who was very professional and helpful getting myself and my pregnant partner in the apartment straight away.

Parked in Jurys Inn secure car park next to the railway station , sign states open at 06.00. Got there 06.15, all locked up. Tried several times to get someone down to open up and let me get my car, no joy. They need to look at how they do this a bit better as I couldn't get my car out of the unit. Very poor

We’ve had a lot of trouble in a student accommodation whereby Magpie Security are the 24 hour on-call security. Our experience with Magpie Security has been incredibly poor on several occasions, with the last occasion tipping it for me. Just now I rang the security to ask for help about trespassers on bikes going through outside community bins. I was greeted by a grunt, not even a word, followed by rude responses, before being hung up on. On previous encounters we have had to wait for over two hours for a security member to arrive, due to excessive noise and antisocial behaviour outside our flats. After ringing Magpie on several times, they assured us somebody was coming. They never did. We know this because we were kept awake throughout the whole time. The following morning Magpie had reported to our student accommodation that it had been dealt with. Pure lies. The worst experience was a staff member of Magpie Security actually swearing at me and getting into a heated argument, because he claimed to have arrived and dealt with an incident, when I know for certain he hadn’t, because we were desperate for help and looking out for it for most of the night. I have always been hesitant to give a bad review to a company, but too many poor experiences from rude staff members not doing their job, let alone not doing it properly, made me want to ensure other companies and student accommodation services avoid Magpie Security. I have experienced antisocial individuals and dangerous incidents, where we really needed help. Where at night, the only option is to ring the allocate security team. Not once did we receive this help. No individual should be left to ring security over 5 times on each occasion to ask for updates or to ask if it had been sorted. If this was my flats’ experience for several incidents, then clearly this service has been experienced by others too. Please avoid
