MacGregor Industrial Supplies Ltd (Inverness)

Absolutely awful communication. I hired 1 item for a few days in November 25. Paid upfront. Set up an account for possible future rental. Its now May 26 and im still being sent request for payment for a generator i gave back 6 months ago. After several attempts by phone/email to sort this and even an admission from Hire department that there's an error the amount is still there. I simply give up! Will never use again.

I had an excellent experience with MacGregor Industrial Supplies, specifically their branding department. Denise was fantastic to work with — she made me feel like a long-standing customer from the start. As a start-up (Highland Estate Sports Ltd), she took the time to understand our business and ensured every detail of our branding was captured exactly as we wanted. Her attention to detail and personal approach were outstanding. We’ll definitely be using Denise and the team for all future branding needs as we grow and build a long-term relationship with them.

Put my strimmer into the inverness branch for repair and service. After the first repair it had the same issue. After the second repair , a carb clean and with synthetic fuel it STILL had the same issue. They told me it was a dirty carb and bad fuel but after rectifying all this the machine has the same problem. I will fix it myself and the one star is for the call from the manager who was very well informed and reduced the bill on my second repair. If machines are poorly repaired in the workshop it reflects badly on your entire business regardless of how good everyone else is. I am down £180 and still have no machine.

I needed help identifying a replacement part on a Stihl chainsaw. After calling up and speaking to a extremely helpful person called Kieran who wasn't able to identify the part over the phone (my issue with a bad part number) but after I emailed him photos of the chainsaw and damaged part he got back to me with a quote very quickly. Kieran was very helpful and a credit to the customer service and parts department. Exactly what you want from a parts sector.

Perhaps the most polite customer service you can get around combined with the vast choice of machinery and technical stuff in general.
