Lux Construction Design & Build

Jit came to the house to discuss our ideas & confirmed that the work was possible in remodeling our kitchen. A doorway was reworked, an internal window was taken out and blocked up, floorboards lifted & replaced, electrical cables installed before the ceiling and walls were re-plastered. All done with the minimum fuss and noise (I was working from home elsewhere in the house so noise levels were important). Each morning we were informed of what work would be done that day and an end of day catch up. Certified electricians were brought in to do the final installation, commissioning and certification of the circuits. The place was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. The walls and ceiling were painted. Then the kitchen units and electrical goods were installed with decorative plinths, new skirting board where needed, a remodeled step down into the adjoining room. At the last minute we added in a request to install new doors as the existing ones looked tatty against the new kitchen units. This was done with minimal fuss. A skilled joiner was brought in for this piece of work and he did an excellent job too. Jit and his team are very hard-working, professional, thorough and seem to really enjoy what they do. They were very pleasant and easy going to talk to and there was none of the usual shouting and raucous behaviour that we have seem when neighbours had work done. I would not hesitate to recommend Lux construction, they did a great job for us, on time, on budget to a high standard.

Could not recommend Joe and his team at Lux Construction any more! Joe and his team have been such a great help throughout the whole process from getting planning sorted to the finishing touches. He stuck to the agreed price as promised, worked around our busy schedules and little kids. Put in the hard graft working late hours to make sure it was finished in time for Christmas! All in all it was a great experience and will definitely be giving him a call in the future for any building needs!

From day one Jit and the team have been thoroughly professional and done an amazing job. Very clear communication, open and transparent around what needed to be done and the execution has been first class. Overall very pleasant and friendly to work with, I would highly recommend Lux and will be using their services again in the future for any additional work I need.

Thankyou JIT and all the team at LUX construction who built a lovely play room and external patio for our house / children. The extension is seamless to the rest of the house and it has given a good few extra years here and avoided us having to move. The construction work was well managed and the team were not at all intrusive and a pleasure to be around. Thanks LUX. - would highly recommend. 👍🏻💯

We chose Lux Construction Harrogate over other builders to carry out our extension and renovation project because Jit (director) was easy to talk to and knowing he’s a structural engineer they was no doubt his team had the knowledge and experience to carry out the work. Our extension looks excellent, grate effort has been taken to match the existing brick work and roofing. All the internal walls where removed and steelwork installed. The project was completed on budget and on time. Thank you to all the LUX Team.
