I Called Leigh lock and safe this morning (21 March 24) who arrived within 30 min. Very friendly chap who sorted out the problem quickly. (I could not open my front door to get out) I have used them before and was very satisfied then so recommended to my daughter who had all locks changed to higher security ones and they also very pleased with the service. Nice to use a well established local firm. Will use again when needed. (J Davis not my real name. Online use only.)

Absolutely brilliant. When we phoned they said someone could be with us in 15 mins, but they arrived in under 10 and soon got us out of a fix! Reasonably priced and we were able to phone into the shop to pay by card.

Our front door wouldn't shut without a key. I dropped into the shop 0815 on morning dog walk. The guys tried to give me advice on what it could be to try and sort it myself first. Rather than muck about and mess it up I asked if they could call and gave a look. It was £74 but needed doing urgently. Within the hour, nice guy called Russ arrived, explained what issues could be from spring to whole new system and approximate cost. In the end after stripping the door it was a tiny spring but Russ oiled and checked all of the system before reassembling.To be honest, for such quick service this close to Christmas it was well worth the call out and they could've told me it needed whole new system and I wouldn't have known the difference.A good friendly local trustworthy longstanding business. I cannot speak highly enough about the friendly and helpful gents at Leigh Lock & Safe Co. This is customer service at it's very best and there's a lot that others could learn from these guys. You simply do not get this good old fashioned help and service from enough places now. From the moment I called them, I felt confident they'd be able to help but when I popped in an hour later with my problem, that's where they really excelled. They found the initial issue and went about fixing that by straightening a spring within the lock. Then they found another issue and subsequently solved that too by filing down a part and then even lent me the file in case it needed to be filed further! Lastly, they provided me with a couple of small screws to ensure a better fixing, which were less than a £1 and which I will pay when I return the file (I didn't have cash and didn't want them to incur cost to accept my card) Where else do you get service like that? All they have made is 96p for the screws hence why I'm writing this review because I like to give credit where due. If you are thinking about anything lock based, anything that these guys cover or offer, then do not hesitate to visit or chat to these helpful, funny, friendly guys where I'm confident you'll receive the same high level of service as me. A real pleasant surprise in this day and age to see people with such job satisfaction and genuine desire to help customers.

Top level service. Called the shop around 8.45am explained that my spare key had been stolen. I needed the front door lock changed. Phillip assured me it would be no problem. I also explained I was in hospital at the moment and my friend was at the house and was very nervous about the key being missing. He called her to say his brother's name was Stuart and he was 10mins away. When Stuart arrived he also called to let her know he was there. Supplied and fitted an excellent lock and all this achieved in under an hour. Price for such a great service very reasonable. Thanks to all. If I need this service again I know my first port of call. Would recommend to all.
