I recently completed the 3-day Leather Repair Course with The Leather Repair Company, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Richard delivered the training with exceptional professionalism and expertise, and with such passion for, leather, the leather industry, and the green credentials of restoring and recycling leather products, Time was spent ensuring every detail was clearly covered and understood. The 3-day course equipped me with invaluable knowledge and skills for leather cleaning, preparation, restoration and protection, and I now feel confident in my ability to carry out leather work myself. Additionally, all the materials I needed to get started right away were provided along with lots of advice on building a leather repair business. I also picked up a number of transferable skills that can be used for other areas I work in. What truly sets The Leather Repair Company, and Richard, apart is their ongoing support. This isn't just "take your money do the course, now bye", this is full access to manuals, videos and materials designed for trained technicians, and if that wasn't enough, a willingness to assist in anyway possible for help and advice with projects you may pick up in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend The Leather Repair Company to anyone looking to enter or expand their skills in the leather repair industry. Their commitment to their trainees' success is something I have not seen elsewhere, there is a very true desire for everyone taking these courses to succeed. Really helpful and friendly staff. And they really knew their stuff. The team performed a deep clean of my Landrover Defender leather seats. And door cards. They did a brilliant job. The amount of dirt removed was incredible. And they even managed to remove a couple of paint spills. You can see in the photos, how dark and grimy they were. The leather is now a lovely red. And super soft. I highly recommend the Leather Repair Company.

We recently attended the Paintless Dent Removal course at the Leather Repair Company, and couldn’t be more impressed. The setup was excellent—clean, organised, and fully equipped for hands-on learning. The instructors were clearly experienced and took the time to guide each participant. I sent my 9-year old biker's leather to be treated and refreshed, after much use and lack of care. What came back was a night-and-day improvement, and feels and looks like a brand new jacket. There's quite a waiting time, but this is well with the result, and the care and skill that has gone into the work is obvious. I came to the course as a complete beginner to the world of leather, and I’ve come away with an abundance of knowledge, practical skills, and—most importantly—confidence to begin working in the automotive leather repair industry. Richard, Carolynne, and Curtis were all so warm, welcoming, and supportive throughout. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and perfectly suited to learning. Richard’s teaching went beyond just the technical aspects of leather repair—he offered invaluable insights into how to build and grow a business within this industry. The Colour Mixing Bolt-On Day was absolutely invaluable. I only knew the basics of colour theory before attending, but this session opened my eyes to the depth of understanding needed for accurate and professional colour matching. It’s an essential addition for anyone wanting to achieve professional results. I left the course feeling inspired, motivated, and fully supported, knowing there’s ongoing help available if I need it.
