5 most relevant · via GoogleToday was my second visit to this laundromat within just two weeks. During my previous visit, I had a jacket dry cleaned and was very satisfied with the service. This time, I brought several large sheets and duvet covers to tumble dry because my attempts at home kept resulting in them twisting into a tight ball. As I was about to use one of the standard dryers, a helpful staff member named Kim noticed and suggested using a larger dryer to prevent tangling. The entire process cost £3.50 and took less than twenty minutes, which I highly recommend if you’re short on time.
i came here today to wash some clothes as i don’t have access to a washing machine / dryer. i was greeted by Kim who was SUCH a big help!! i’ve never used a laundrette before and she talked me through how to use everything, gave me some powder / liquid as i didn’t bring any (and directed me of where to get some!), and helped me sort everything out! she was so so kind, so welcoming, and the whole process was not only easy and accessible but also cheap!! i will be using this laundrette anytime i need to wash my clothes!! also just a note - bring cash!! don’t be silly like me!! thank you to kim 🤍
Fantastic place staff friendly... Plenty of machines to use. It was my first time using a launderette. Would definitely recommend
I brought a Mountain Hardwear sleeping bag to wash. The 50-pound machine was reserved all day for the staff. A staff member said the 25-pound machine would be sufficient. I doubted it, but she's the professional, so I believed her. After one cycle, there were soap residues on it, so I ran a whole new cycle without any soap, following the staff member's advice. Once again, I asked if it wouldn't be better to use the 50-pound machine, but I was told no. More than £15 later, this is how my sleeping bag and two down-filled camp boots look: miserable. The value of both items is £400 (this is the warmest synthetic sleeping bag from Mountain Hardwear, which had to be bought in the US because it wasn't even sold in Europe). The reason why I'm writing this review: it seems I wasn't allowed to wash my -28°C sleeping bag, but a British client who arrived after me was allowed to wash her smaller duvet. Go figure why. As you can imagine, I will never return. 1st photo: my large sleeping bag in the 25-pound washing machine. 2nd and 3rd photos: my sleeping bag and camp boots after two washes in said washing machine, the second wash without any soap. 4th photo: Another person's duvet being washed in the machine I was told I couldn't use. As you can see there is plenty of spare space in said 50 pounds washing machine because the duvet was smaller than my sleeping bag.
5 star review because I seen another user moaning about this shop putting g British people first. The reviewer also moaned about her £400 pound stuff not being the way she wanted, but can't afford to just get a decent washing machine 🤷♂️ Some people. Aye. Have a Godly day peeps
