JM Building Contractors

JM Building Contractors have just completed an extension and patio at my home. James has been extremely patient, walked me through the planning process and guided me whenever I had any questions. The work has been carried out very efficiently, accurately and tidily. I am extremely happy with the service I received from James and the Team and would highly recommend. Thanks again.

Had a leak in a bay window, called out JM building, paid a £150 callout fee which was fine. Had a diagnosis of the fault and how to fix it, paid another £80 for a temp repair. First attempt didn't fix the issue, nether did the second. Given the builder spent less than 5 minutes each time I asked for a more concerted effort, he got back to me with: "Hi, I will by book it back in but there will be a charge again, as you can imagine we can’t keep calling out for a re occurring leak that we don’t know where it’s coming from." He initially said he would make us "water tight" for the winter but was going to charge us again for the same leak. Plus I asked multiple time for a quote for the permanent fix but was ignored each time. Don't like giving bad reviews but given how we were treated I think people should be aware.

Cannot recommend this company enough. James and his team came to my rescue after some other builders messed up my flat roof. I awoke to find water coming down my walls., I phoned them and they arrived within twenty minutes of my call, and they put on a temporary roof which stayed intact throughot a later storm. They have now completed the job and I'm really happy with my new roof . I'll definitely use them again.

James has been so wonderful through this whole process, helpful and kind when taking me through the process of planning and beginning processes of our build, can't thank you enough for the care and consideration. I couldn't of asked for anyone better than James to help us on our journey. Any family or friends that are looking to build will be getting my recommendation to go & see James, they'll be in very good hands.

My bedroom ceiling had collapsed which revealed years of water damage that we weren't aware of. The damage was quite extensive and required new ceiling and walls to the bedroom. James and his team were on hand from the initial callout, through the final lick of paint that restored our bedroom. The team treated my home with respect, ensuring that it was always left tidy. They were always on time, always polite and passionate about the quality of the work. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
