Homebase Truro

Looks lovely from the outside but not so great on the inside with lots of empty spaces and untidy areas. Shop looks far too big for amount of products inside and half of the upstairs area is closed off. Customer service was very good and garden centre was exceptional.

Based on the Treliske retail park. Parking here not usually an issue as loads of space. Big store for the DIYer, stocking everything from Kitchens to gardening. Good choice, not the cheapest bit not expensive, and always some offers and bargains to be had.

The store is fine, but unfortunately the parking outside is managed by an exceptionally aggressive company. There are several potentially useful stores at this location which means you can easily be here for more than a couple hours. But if you do, the parking pirates will issue you with a fine and it's completely impossible to communicate with them. I'd strongly recommend avoiding this store and the others at this retail park.

I ordered & paid for 3 items online. Drove 25 miles to collect. Turns out they only had 2 of my items. They couldn't tell me when the 3rd will be in stock. They promised to refund the balance to my card. They were unable to send the 3rd item in the post.. Even though it was small. I have yet to receive the refund, so on the whole not a good experience and a copious waste of time.

Good parking staff very helpful store layout is a challenge to find things no sense in the system forcing you to take a route around goods you have no interest in and make it confusing to the point where you have to find a member of staff to help you if they can remember due to the constant change of layout buy person's from outside the store and just work in a office with no empathy for the local customer maybe these people should spend a week in store as a low grade staff member and just get a real view of a customer. But the staff do the company credit and are very knowledgeable about most things
