I recently stayed at a property where this company handled both the cleaning and the laundry. A high‑value ring went missing after my stay. It had been left inside a pillowcase, and because this company carried out both the cleaning and the linen processing, they had full chain of custody of the bedding.Despite this, the ring was not located, and I struggled to get clear information about what checks were carried out at each stage. Communication felt limited, and I did not receive the transparency I expected for such a serious matter.I am not accusing anyone of wrongdoing, but based on my experience, recovering lost property through this company was extremely difficult.

I was promised the world and got none of it. I had complaints from guests on how dirty things were left. I had one week that Handover left my property without finishing and guests arrived to have the property cleaned, no beds made up. They muddled my linen with other peoples’ and when I eventually got my own linen back loads was missing in the 4 months I used this service, costing me about £300 to replace. I was promised photos of the clean each week but I had to ask and ask for ones showing me a clean oven, washing machine, probably because they weren’t cleaned each week.

We asked Handover Cleaning & Property Services to do a deep clean of the property we were moving out. Fantastic job was done. Very professional service and great communication... which is hugely appreciated! Would recommend.
