Globe Laundry Dry Cleaners

Traveller—definitely self serve! The staff is lovely! It is cash only but there is an ATM directly outside and they will sell you the coins (and soap!!) £5 per wash load and £1 for every 5 minutes of drying. Wash is 30 min and my clothes were completely dry after 25 min drying.

Absolutely filthy. Decided to carry wet clothes home to avoid prolonged exposure to this hell hole. A soiled mass of wet tissue…or damp tampon? was sitting amongst a bed of human hair, debris of cigarettes and what looked like tea bag remains…nestled in a pile, beside the laundry powder insert slot. Shameful.

Literally avoid I asked if they could take out a stain, they said yes - if they couldn’t, then I wouldn’t have proceeded The mark was barely noticeable - not only did they not get it out, they made it worse They said they would take 20% off since they didn’t fix it and it cost me £40 to be handed back a leather jacket worse than when I gave it in - and it has shrank too It’s an absolute state now Bitterly angry Use at your own risk

Self service machines available at this place. See prices and opening times on the photos. Washes are not to be started after 5pm (mon-fri), 4pm (sat) and 3pm (Sun)

Website hours need updating. I need to do laundry (self service) early morning before a trip and the hours online said “open 7am-9pm” and I show up right at 7am and not open. Wait a couple of minutes and still not opened. So i decided to do laundry after I get back from my day excursion. Got back at 6pm. Saw it was open so I call them to make sure and they said they’re closed. And I made sure to say self service as to not confuse with dry-cleaning. And still said closed. I told him the hours listed on the website are wrong. Couldn’t do laundry. Mind you I’ve been told my hotel has a laundry facility and it does not. And I take off the next day at 6am to another country. *the self-service page says open from 7am - 9pm, but the first page says 9am-6pm (dry cleaning)
